Formed in 1994 as the telecommunications arm of Duke Energy, DukeNet develops and manages communication systems for wireless, local and long distance companies as well as educational, governmental, financial and health care entities.

DukeNet’s fiber optic network expands more than 4,300 miles in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia and Florida. 

Our services include point-to-point local and long-haul connectivity, high speed Ethernet, access to central office locations, data center and data storage connectivity and other custom solutions. 

We also offer co-location services on our tower sites throughout the Midwest and the Carolinas to wireless carriers, Internet service providers, etc.
