Enroll in the New Online Property Manager Service

Use our free Online Property Manager Service to get a daily email of account changes for your properties with a link to quickly see which accounts are listed in your name or in the resident’s name. You can also use the tool to start or stop electric service for a location in your name – all in one place! (A Revert to Owner Agreement* is required.)

To sign up for this free service, follow the instructions below:

  • If you already have a Revert to Owner* Agreement, simply send a list of your service addresses by community along with your Federal Tax ID and contact information in the comments section of our secure e-mail form at https://www.duke-energy.com/contact/contact.asp. Be sure to complete all areas of the form before clicking the submit button.
  • If you need a Revert to Owner* Agreement, follow the steps below:
  1. Complete the authorization form (pdf, 64KB) and list the locations to be included in the Revert to Owner Service. (If using Adobe Acrobat version 5.0 or greater, you can type into the form's blank fields and print the document.)
  2. Print the form.
  3. Retain a copy for your records.
  4. Fax the completed form to 1-800-640-5991, ATTN: Revert to Owner Service Program or

*Revert to Owner Agreement (aka Concurrent Agreement or Landlord Service Agreement) allows us to automatically start service in your name whenever residents move out of your rental locations (except when a resident service is disconnected for non-pay). This eliminates having to apply for service when a resident moves out.

If you need to request service before you have signed up for the Online Property Manager service, click on the links below to initiate your single or multiple service requests.

  • Property Manager/Start Service - Use this form when residents are moving out to apply for service in your name. For your future needs, please review the Revert to Owner Agreement link above to automate this process.
  • Property Manager/Stop Service - Use this form when residents are moving in, to stop service in your name.

Service requests are processed Monday - Saturday. Please allow at least three business days from the day the request is submitted for us to complete your request. After completing and submitting your request, you will receive immediate confirmation. Once your orders are processed, another confirmation will be sent via email for your records.
