This infrastructure project will replace approximately 3.4 miles of aging natural gas main while addressing increased energy demand due to the growth in the area.

The project includes:

  • 1,239 feet along Belt Street
  • 840 feet along Brandon Avenue
  • 1,878 feet along Center Street
  • 831 feet along Chateau Place
  • 805 feet along Clark Street
  • 885 feet along Cooper Street
  • 747 feet along Dot Street
  • 2,482 feet along Forest Avenue
  • 386 feet along George Street
  • 552 feet along Helen Street
  • 712 feet along Hudson Avenue
  • 1,228 feet along Lila Avenue
  • 266 feet along May Street
  • 1,111 feet along Miami Avenue
  • 1,146 feet along Pasadena Avenue
  • 364 feet along Pike Street
  • 1,067 feet along Riverside Drive
  • 1,238 feet along Walnut Street

Access to residences and businesses will be maintained.

The replacement pipelines are constructed with polyethylene (plastic). The new pipe will be installed within the public right of way adjacent to the existing pipelines.
