EV Complete Program Guide

Do you have a Level 2 EV charger?

The first step to finding solutions is to let us know if you have this type of charger.

Level 2 chargers are either hardwired or plugged into an existing 240-volt outlet (dryer plug). They can be Wi-Fi-connected smart chargers or basic chargers that simply supply power to the vehicle. They come in outdoor or indoor and hardwired or plug-in options.

* If you rent and do not have an existing charger, the Charger Solution program may be right for you. This program offers a 36-month term rental of a Level 2 home EV charger, including the cost of installation, warranty and maintenance.**

Throughout the term, you will operate the charger and Duke Energy will retain ownership and responsibility for troubleshooting and maintenance.

** Work that must be performed to prepare your home for the charger (conduit, wiring, increased capacity, etc.) is not covered under the program.
