Duke Energy Ohio

House Bill 6, also known as HB 6, was passed in 2019, requiring the current energy efficiency programs offered by Duke Energy Ohio to end. 

The Sept. 30 deadline was directed by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio to ensure that all program activities are fully completed, incentives and any other payments be processed, approved, and paid by Dec. 31, 2020.

For programs that do not require an application to receive an incentive, Duke Energy Ohio can no longer enroll customers or offer incentives after Sept. 30, 2020. 

Currently, offerings are not available beyond 2020. Duke Energy Ohio must obtain approval from the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio to offer any future programs and incentives.

If you have a rebate application for a project completed prior to September 30, but have not yet received your reward, you can check the status at www.smartsaverincentives.com  using the Track Rebate link found at the bottom of the page.  You may also contact our program Call Center at 866-785-6209 for assistance in checking the status of your reward.
